How Paabangan handles your information

This policy explains how Paabangan collects and uses information for landlords, tenants, public listing visitors, and people who contact us.

Information We Collect

Account information such as name, email address, phone number, login method, session details, and security events.
Rental management information entered by landlords, including properties, units, tenants, rent records, deposits, utility charges, maintenance requests, payment proofs, public listings, and inquiries.
Tenant portal information needed to provide invited tenant access, including profile details, rent balances, maintenance messages, and notifications.
Device, browser, IP, approximate location, and activity logs used for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and audit trails.

Paabangan uses PostHog to understand product usage, page views, feature activity, and error patterns. We only enable PostHog after you accept optional analytics.
When analytics is accepted, PostHog may receive usage events, browser and device details, page URLs, and signed-in landlord identifiers such as name and email.
If you decline analytics, Paabangan will not initialize PostHog for your browser. Required authentication and security cookies still continue to work.

We use information to operate Paabangan, authenticate users, maintain landlord and tenant records, support public listings, process manual payment workflows, send notifications, improve product reliability, and protect accounts from abuse.
Generated rental terms and summaries are templates for landlord review. Landlords remain responsible for making sure their rental terms, listings, records, and tenant communications are lawful and accurate.

We use service providers for hosting, analytics, email delivery, image uploads, SMS, payment-related workflows, support, and security monitoring. These providers process data only as needed to provide Paabangan.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect Paabangan and its users, or with your direction, such as when a landlord publishes a listing or contacts a tenant.

You can accept or decline optional analytics from the consent banner. You can also clear your browser site data to remove the saved analytics preference.
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your information by contacting us. Some records may be retained when needed for security, legal, audit, billing, or dispute purposes.

Paabangan uses account sessions, access controls, audit logs, and operational safeguards to protect data. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so users should keep credentials private and review account activity.
We keep information while your account is active and as needed for operations, security, legal obligations, billing records, backups, and dispute handling.
